Our mushroom foraging experiences take place in the beautiful regions of Zagori and Pogoni, home to vast oak forests and rich woodland ecosystems.

The variety of ecosystems in this area allows us to discover many different mushroom species growing in diverse forest environments.

These areas offer ideal conditions for wild mushrooms to grow, making them perfect for exploring the hidden fungal treasures of Epirus.

When

Mushroom foraging is available at spring, beginning of Summer and during autumn, when rainfall and temperatures create the perfect conditions for mushroom growth.

Because mushrooms depend heavily on recent rain and ideal weather, we recommend contacting us in advance so we can select the best possible dates based on current forest conditions.
